Award winning actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie, also know as "The sexiest woman in the world" is a greatly respected Tat Monkey. Her tattoos, original and incredible by themselves have been made infamous for being on her skin. "Know your rights" (Center picture) tattooed below the back of her neck, is said to be a song from one of her favorite bands. The ink on her left shoulder blade, is a Buddhist Incantation which she received by tattoo artist Noo Kanhphaiin. The incantation is said to protect those from bad luck. She obtained it when she adopted her Cambodian son, Maddox. Translated it means: "May your enemies run far away from you. If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always. Your beauty will be that of Apsara. Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surrounding you on all sides". (Furthest Right) She also obtained the roman numeral 13 on her underarm to represent the fact that she does not believe in superstition. The cross on her hip shown in the picture furthest left, covers a tattoo she had done is Amsterdam of a dragon with a blue tongue. Instead she now has this cross and a small Latin phrase"Quod me nutrit me destruit", which is said to mean "What nourishes me, destroys me." The tiger on her lower back, probably her most famous and astonishing ink, is a twelve inch by eight inch portrait of a Bengali Tiger. She had it done in Bangkok in 2004, by artist Noo Kanhphaiin, who had also done her Buddhist Incantation tattoo on her left shoulder blade. The tattoo was done by hand and took approximatively two hours to complete. This is just a taste od Angelina's Ink history and hopefully she is not done writing it.
